Oceanaire- Restaurant Week Boston

So I went to restaurant week for lunch at Oceanaire Seafood Room in the financial district and it was AMAZING. I forgot to take pictures of the appetizers and desserts, but at least I got a picture of the most important and most delicious part of the meal- the stuffed shrimp.

For an appetizer, I got the fried calamari with red chili soy glaze. It came with julienned peppers and onions. It was good, but I usually like to have some kind of sauce to dip the calamari in, and it did not come with one.

As my entree, I got jumbo shrimp stuffed with blue crab, brie cheese and linguine with scampi sauce. Everything about this plate was SO GOOD. The portion looks kind of small but everything was really rich and filling.

Katie got the seared rainbow trout with sesame cucumber salad. It was good but definitely not as good as the shrimp.

For desserts, we tried one of each which was cookies and milk, key lime pie, and mango sorbet. The cookies were oatmeal chocolate chip and they were pretty good. The sorbet was very refreshing and good as well but my favorite was the key lime pie.

I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner. I looked at the regular menu and although a bit expensive, it had a ton of delicious options.
